Founder & President
At the very core of Anyemi Foundation is a personal story of compassion, conviction, and responsibility.
Mr. Jonas Ayitevie, the founder and president of Anyemi Foundation, grew up deeply aware of the harsh realities many children face daily across Ghana and much of Africa.
He witnessed how something as simple as the lack of a school uniform, a textbook, or a few unpaid school fees could force bright, eager children out of the classroom — robbing them of their potential and trapping entire families in generational poverty.
But instead of watching helplessly or waiting for someone else to act, Jonas made a personal decision:
“If God has blessed me with resources, it is not for my comfort alone — it is for the benefit of others who may never have the same opportunities.”
Thus, Anyemi Foundation was born — not as a charity to seek donations, but as a personal mission funded directly from his own resources, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to change lives.
Unlike many organizations that depend heavily on external fundraising to operate, Anyemi Foundation is uniquely self-funded at its core.
Instead, it was a deep personal sacrifice — a calling to directly invest personal income, time, and energy to bring hope where hopelessness had long reigned.
“When I see a child smile because they have finally received their first school uniform, I see more than a piece of cloth.
I see dignity restored. I see hope reborn. I see a life that may one day change the world.”
While the foundation’s roots are deeply planted in Ghana, Jonas Ayitevie’s vision is continental. The goal is not to stop at a few communities or a few hundred children, but to build a strong, scalable, and sustainable movement that will touch thousands — even millions — of lives across Africa.
